Oxford Soccer League Travel Team

Travel soccer is the next step for your child after In House  soccer.  It typically starts at U9-U10 based on the players available for the team for the boys and girls division.  At this level, all players make the team and have equal playing time.  The goal is to continue to build their skills and positioning in a more competitive but fun atmosphere led by parent volunteer coaches.  Your team will have minimal travel throughout the CJSA greater New Haven area to play similiary experienced teams with up to half of the 7 games at home.   It starts at 7 vs 7 at U9, then 9 vs 9 at U11 and eventually 11-11 at U13.  The team generally practices twice a week for 75 minutes each and 1 game on the weekend.
